Although paper pencils and drawing equipment is very important in the end its just the tools of the job. There are thousands of papers and boards to chose from and its up to you to try a lot of different ones and connect with the right paper. One thing cheap paper falls apart. I use mechanical pencil which are fine but I would say don’t use these early on wood pencils have a better variety of line. Explore all kinds of subject matter, and teach yourself to see the world, the drawing part will come with a lot of time in front of your drawing board. Keep the passion!
